Israel and the Nations

This blog has been birthed during the period of Holy anticipation that falls each year between Passover and Pentecost, called the counting of the Omer.  This year, it has overlapped the season of “lock down” in many nations.  As the events of the last months began to unfold, I understood that I had the God given opportunity to do what has been in my heart for a long time; to sit and to write.  Many of you have encouraged me, prayed for me, spoken over me and even begged me that I must write what I teach whilst taking people around the land.  I am so grateful for each one of you.

A little while ago I had a dream that my womb was filled with papers, and that when water was added, they would come flowing out.  Shortly after this I felt that it was easy to write and it just began to flow out of me like a river!

My lovely husband, seeing that I was spending hours and hours writing, suggested the idea of a Blog page, that could be used to launch future publications.  We foresee that there will still be time before I have the privilege to teach on site and in person, and so together we are developing ways to continue to teach through writings and through videos as well.   I am so grateful to have more time at home with my precious husband and three beautiful children.

So, humbly I am taking Abbas’ hand, and starting out on a new journey.  This blog is just the beginning as I work towards writing, editing and publishing one or more books under the banner “Israel and the Nations; Lessons from the Land.”  I love the title Israel and the Nations because it expresses God’s heart for His people Israel, who were called to be His tool to reveal His plan of salvation for both Israel and the Nations.

The title Israel and the Nations is both a reflection of His heart for all Nations, Tribes and Tongues, as well as the place in His heart for Israel. It is also a reflection of my life, living in Israel and being connected to the Nations.

May this land again be opened to receive the nations!

Isaiah 2: “ This is what Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem:  In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.”

Soon we will develop a patronage or subscription system, so that for a small monthly gift you can gain access to more materials that I will not be posting publicly.  In this way I would be able to express my gratitude to any who would like to sow into this ministry, and you would be enabling me to finish writing and editing my book/s and to prepare for publishing.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, May he make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you His peace. Amen.
