לחיילים היקרים שלנו, המנגינה היפה ושובת הלב הזו שכתב יריב גולדמן הזכירה לי את מה שאמר הנביא ירמיהו בספר ירמיהו ח’ 23: לו רק הראש שלי היה מים ועיניי מעיין של דמעות, אז הייתי בוכה יום ולילה למען ההרוגים של בת עמי! כל כך הרבה נוצרים ברחבי העולם זועקים לאלוהים, עבורכם, מגיני ישראל, קוראים לכל אחד מכם לפניו על בסיס יומיומי. השיר הזה יפה ועוצמתי זועק אליו לרחמים, למען ישראל, לבני הערובה, למענכם, אנו מתפללים שמנהיגי צבאנו יהיו “אנשים שיודעים לפרש את אותות הזמן לקבוע מה על ישראל לעשות”. דברי הימים 12 פסוק 32 דברי הימים יב פסוק 1-2 נותן הקשר לפסוק זה: “אלו האנשים שהגיעו אל דוד בציקלג כאשר גורש מנוכחות שאול בן קיש. הם היו בין הלוחמים שסייעו לו בקרב. הם היו חמושים בקשתות ויכלו להשתמש גם ביד ימין וגם בשמאל. לזרוק אבנים ולירות חיצים מהקשת”. “לא ינום ולא יישן שומר ישראל ” יהיה איתך, ישמור עליך, שהוא איתן לכה אצלכה ויחזיר אותך הביתה בשלום.

This beautiful, haunting melody was written by Yariv Goldman. The words are a cry for mercy for our nation, with the song writer sighing, “my heart is like water within me.” This reminded me of what the prophet Jeremiah said in the book of Jeremiah 8 v 23: (TLV) If only my head were water and my eyes a fountain of tears, then I would weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!
I added Baruch ha ba to the arrangement, because it seems that there is no man-made solution to this problem. Ultimately it will not be solved unto, the Prince of Peace rules and reigns from Jerusalem. Baruch ha ba welcomes Him to His city and Land. I have been crying to the Father for mercy for His people and His land, for the safety and protection of our soldiers and for the safe return of the many hostages that have been taken, including sixteen children.
Thank you to those Christians from the nations who across the nations are daily praying for each one. We are also praying that the leaders of our army would be “men who know how to interpret the signs of the times to determine what Israel should do.” I Chronicles 12 v 32. (TLV) 1 Chronicles 12 v 1-2 (TLV) gives context to this verse: “These are the men who came to David at Ziklag when he was banished from the presence of Saul son of Kish. They were among the warriors who assisted him in battle. They were armed with bows and could use both the right hand and the left to sling stones and shoot arrows from the bow.” Our army need great wisdom at this time that is beyond the wisdom of man. They are being pushed in many directions by the world, but need to do what is right in His sight, which may not be what is right in the eyes of the nations. Let us cry together for mercy for Israel, for the hostages, for our soldiers, for our people and our Land.
May Abba bless you in this most important task, for such a time as this.
